Demolition of Existing and Excavation for New Structure.
Owner wanted a new structure in place of original for better water control operations. In order to demolish the existing structure and install the new one, a steel sheet piling cofferdam was installed to allow construction below groundwater. Heavy equipment was used for the demolition of the original structure.
Dewatering Capabilities
Staab has expertise in dealing with groundwater in all types of soils. At this location we utilized our wellpoint system along with steel sheet piling to draw the groundwater low enough to allow the installation of a new water control structure.
